The death of a western Kentucky man whose body was found floating in Lake Barkley, and a preliminary report on the cause of death of the 45-year-old man from Benton indicated drowning. State police were called to the lake concerning an abandoned pontoon boat in a lake-connected rock quarry near the Hillman Ferry campground at Golden Pond. The victim’s body was found two hours later. (Source: Associated Press)
