A 37 year Texas man drowned after his truck fell into a quarry at the sand and gravel plant where he worked for five years.

The local sheriff’s investigators believe the victim failed to negotiate a turn on a road and drove his truck into the quarry filled with about 35 feet of water.

The vicitm’s family members contacted local authorities after he did not return home from work

Local dive teams searched the water and discovered the victim’s truck. His body was discovered about three hours later in 17 feet of water.
