An 18-year-old South Dakota teenager drowned in a northwest Iowa gravel pit. The victim was swimming across the pit when he began calling for help. The Osceola County Sheriff’s department said he was about 150 feet from shore when he sank into the water. Rescue divers located the body in about 15 feet of water. (Source: IowaChannel.Com)
